The Horrible Life of a Carrot.

I felt I needed to post this here, as well.
No one knows. No one understands how horrible it is to be a carrot. No one cares.
Well I do.
So I came to tell you what carrots go through everyday.
And maybe you can show some consideration the next time you sink your teeth into a poor, helpless carrot.
First, as a carrot, you have to grow up in cold, dark, dirt. That's right. You're buried alive, with only your leaves sticking out in air. What a hideous way to grow up. And they have to, as a child, watch out for bunnies and other rodents, because they have no parents to protect them. Some carrots may have a fear of spiders or worms. So they have to sleep with fear every single night. Sometimes they're sprayed with harsh chemicals when they're grown in large quantities. Finally, when they're done growing up (they've already been attacked by rodents, sprayed with chemicals, and fall asleep with fear) the person who was growing them yanks 'em out by their leaves, only to be eaten alive.
There are many ways for carrots to die. Most of these deaths consist of severe pain.
The lucky carrots go on a conveyer belt and dumped into bags for people to bite, and that's all.
Sometimes carrots are chopped up with jagged knives and dipped in dressing. Some carrots are sliced, buttered, baked, and eaten. Some carrots are even cut and put in boiling hot water to put in pot roast.
So the next time you eat a carrot, remember this. Remember how grew up for you. Remember how they died for you. Think about how they're thoughtlessly eaten every day. Respect. Care.
